Our client, a Western Australian Gold Producer, currently requires an experienced Pit Technician for their key open pit project.
Requirements:
- Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers License
- Obtain a National Police Clearance
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Highly motivated, reliable and a strong sense of urgency
Position Duties:
- Complete ore markups
- Ensure ore blocks mined are supervised and clear instructions are provided to operators
- Effectively complete sampling tasks
- Conduct data entry of sample data and complete lab submissions ensuring consignment notes are timely and accurate
- Complete project work as directed by the Geology team
Experience
6+ months experience in a similar role (preferably on gold mine sites)
