TP17404 - Underground Mine Engineer | Mining Employment Services

Our client is a gold and nickel producer in WA. Due to their ongoing expansion at their UG operations, they are seeking a Underground Mining Engineer to join their growing Technical Services team.

Job Requirements:

Tertiary degree in Mine Engineering;
Completion of Underground time (preferred);
Competent in use of CAD software (Deswik preferable) in mine design;
Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.

Position Duties:

Development of short-term planning requirements producing weekly schedules and effective communication of such plans to all stakeholders;
Stope design, along with ventilation work as required;
Implementation and design of drill and blast plans;
Coordinate daily production requirements;
Electronic detonator timing underground.

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a UG Mining Engineer
