MES is currently seeking Plant Metallurgist on behalf of our emerging lithium client who is expending their team.

Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
- Experience working with metal accounting, forecasting and budgets
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of lab technicians and operators;
Position Duties:
- Provide a service to production activities at the metallurgical plant;
- Assist in technical training and mentoring of processing and laboratory personnel to understand metallurgical processes;
- Analyse inefficiencies, identify bottlenecks through operational performance data and recommend improvement strategies to optimise the metallurgical performance of the plant;
- Prepare technical reports and analysis on plant performance including operational reconciliations.
Experience
2+ years metallurgical experience in lithium or base metal flotation processes
