Our client is an Australian producer of clean, high-grade nickel sulphides for the exciting and rapidly growing green-energy battery sector is seeking a Mine Planning Engineer to join their team.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering;
- Competent with mine design software Deswik CAD and IS;
- Exposure to production and planning experience in a mechanised hard rock underground mine;
- Underground time completed.
Position Duties:
- Produce accurate and clear mine instructions for approval for Senior Engineer
- Ensure issued instructions are clear, correct and understandable to operators;
- Work closely with Geology team to ensure designs are in line with the available geological information;
- Undertake improvement projects to optimise mining practices;
- Develop weekly plans and schedules and ensuring compliance to 3MS special requirements.
