Our client, a major player in Western Australia's gold production sector, is in search of an Open Pit Mine Surveyor to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, this role primarily involves supporting surface mining operations, with potential involvement in underground operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Surveying;
- Exposure in open pit mining;
- Competent using Deswik.
Position Duties:
- Survey markout for drill and blast rings, exploration drilling, mine heading development and raise bore drilling;
- Survey of completed works for end of month development and ore stockpiles, mine heading development and geological mapping;
- Creation of survey plans for horizontal and vertical development, emergency response plans, end of month surveys.
