Our client, a mineral sands project is currently seeking a contract Open Pit Mine Surveyor to join their team for 2-3 months.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Surveying;
  • Exposure in open pit mining;
  • RePL License;
  • Competent using Deswik and Pix 4D.

Position Duties:

  • Survey markout for drill and blast rings, exploration drilling, mine heading development and raise bore drilling;
  • Survey of completed works for end of month development and ore stockpiles, mine heading development and geological mapping;
  • Creation of survey plans for horizontal and vertical development, emergency response plans, end of month surveys.
