TP17825- Underground Manager | Mining Employment Services

Our client, a Western Australian gold producer is seeking a hands on and motivated Underground Mining Manager to commence establishment and preparation of the initial underground development of one of their current surface mine.

Requirements:

Hold a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency;
Ability to lead, develop and execute plans, providing technical and collaborative support in and across geology, mining, and processing departments to maximise the potential for ore extraction following the safe systems of work.

Position Duties:

Ensure all planning and production tasks for the underground mine are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the plan;
Management of day-to-day production activities;
Develop mine plans and schedules ranging from short term through to 3-Month and Life-of-Mine time horizons;
Oversee the development and implementation of stoping designs;
Review and improve standard processes and systems for mine planning and production;
Ensure Contractor performance is in line with the contract and mine plan.
