Our client, an Australian gold producer located in the Southern Goldfields, is currently seeking a Project Geologist to join their team. The successful candidates will be part of the delineation and development of new underground mines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSc) majoring in geology;
- Significant exposure in exploration projects and mining operations;
- Proficient in Leapfrog, Datamine and surpac.
Position Duties:
- Managing allocated exploration programs and projects including generation and testing of exploration targets;
- Collection and collation of technical data including mapping, sampling and diamond core logging;
- Provides geological technical support to evaluate greenfield, near mined and res mining and production;
- Manage exploration drilling and resource development drilling when required to establish the limits of the orebody within approved budget estimates.
