Our client is an ASX listed company established in 2001 and operate an underground base-metals mine and processing plant in Western Australia. They currently require a Junior Field Assistant to join their team on a contract to permanent basis who will report to the Senior Geologist.The successful candidate will provide support to the project involving all aspects of core farm management and underground grade control under the direction of the Senior Geologist.
Position Duties:
- Accurately and efficiently process diamond core, conduct ROM management, store diamond core samples, and collect sludge samples
- Assist mine geologists as required
- Maintain a safe working environment and harmonious workplace culture to achieve team goals
- Safe utilisation of equipment to ensure production targets are achieved
