Our client, an ASX-listed gold mining and exploration company proudly based in Western Australia, is currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Electricians to join their team at one of their gold operations.
Job Requirements:
- Unrestricted WA electrical license;
- WA manuals driver’s license;
- Electrical Trade and High Voltage switching qualification;
- Competent with reporting, completing electrical logs, and working on a work order system;
- Hazard identification and risk assessment.
Position Duties:
- Diagnose LV & HV power installations and conduct control system repairs, modifications, and adjustments;
- Maintain motors, transformers, and other electrical apparatus;
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, as required;
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures;
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes;
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
