Our Client is a publicly listed Perth based gold production and exploration company, with a proven management team that has a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations.
They are currently looking for an experienced Open Pit Mine Geologist to come on board.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology
- Strong operational experience in open pit mine geology - (Ideally Gold)
- Proficiency with Surpac or a similar mining software package
- Full Australian working rights
Position Duties:
- Maximize ore recovery and minimize dilution
- Managing and monitoring daily production activities
- Ore markups and zone preparation for mining
- Geological mapping and sampling
Experience
Open pit experience working in a similar senior role
