Our client, an international Gold mining company, focusing on the Eastern Goldfield region of Western Australia, is seeking Open Pit & Underground Mine Geologists to join their new project.
The project is considered Australia's next major gold mine with significant near-term, high-margin gold production and opportunities for future growth.
Job Requirements:
- Australian recognized Geology Degree (or equivalent);
- Previous mine geology experience (desirable);
- Current Australian C class drivers’ license;
- Hold full Australian working rights - without restrictions.
Position Duties:
- Design and monitoring of grade control drilling programs;
- Providing daily, weekly, and monthly grade control reports;
- Interact with the mining department to maximize ore recovery and minimize dilution;
- Geological mapping and sampling.
Experience
1+ year in a similar production role (desirable)
