Our client, a successful Australian Gold producer, is looking for x2 UG Project Geologists to join their team at one of their UG Gold Operations in WA.
Working closely with the Senior Mine Geologists and the Geology Superintendent, the Project Mine Geologist will be assisting with some large scale project work.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology or the equivalent;
- Competent with 3D mining software Surpac;
- Leapfrog experience is essential;
- Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
- WA Manual Drivers Licence;
- National Police Clearance.
Position Duties:
- Drill planning and contractor management;
- Complete project work as required;
- Some core-logging duties as required (note - not a significant amount);
- Demonstrate safety leadership and a commitment to a zero-harm culture;
- Mentor geologists in targeting, modelling and interpretation.
Experience
Minimum 4 years’ geology experience; with at least 2 years UG experience preferred.
