Our Client who is a successful international gold producer is currently seeking a Mine Planning Engineer for their underground operation in the North Island of New Zealand.
The ideal Candidate will have:
A degree in Mining Engineering
Advanced Microsoft Office software skills
Experience with mine planning software
Previous experience in underground mine production
Knowledge of drill and blast methods
Knowledge of ventilation systems
Knowledge and understanding of mine infrastructure and reticulation systems
Practical underground mining experience
Good communication skills
Position Duties:
- Contributing to the mine planning and scheduling processes
- Coordinate plans and communicate to relevant departments
- Ensure timely and accurate daily reporting of mining performance physicals to management
- Provide engineering support to the Mine Foreman in the day to day operational requirements of development and production activities, including a detailed handover process
Experience
