We are currently seeking a process driven, experienced Principal Mining Engineer for our client's Western Australian underground mine. They are an international base metals miner with a proven track record in successful resources project development, operation, and investments.
Required:

Tertiary qualified Mining Engineer
Exceptional organising, planning, and problem-solving skills
Well-developed strategic thinking, analytical and planning skills
Strong experience and background in underground mine planning, Deswik experience advantageous
Working knowledge and understanding of the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations
Competent person for underground metalliferous mining Ore Reserves

Position Duties:

  • Prepare and communicate the LOM design and schedule
  • Prepare and communicate the annual budget mine design and schedule
  • Prepare and communicate the Ore Reserves design, schedule and report
  • Liaise with the Mine Planning and Scheduling Engineers to provide a suitable bridge from LOM and Budget plans to 3-Month and Weekly plans
