Our reputable client a Western Australian gold mine is seeking an Underground Mine Geologist to join their team. This company is a key player in the global market who has laid solid foundations to secure growing gold production ensuring the companies status as a major player in the Australian Gold sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology;
Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SURPAC;
Have a National Police Clearance or be able to obtain one promptly.
Position Duties:
- Geological mapping and sampling;
- Managing and monitoring daily production activities;
- Grade estimation, ore modelling and production reconciliation.
Experience
2+ years’ experience in underground mine geology, preferably within a gold mine.
