Our client a successful Western Australian gold producer currently seeks an experienced Senior Open Pit Geologist to join their gold mining operation in Western Australia.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a gold industry experience including narrow vein gold
Must be proficient in the use of SURPAC
Strong mapping skills
Ability to update GC blockmodels in a dynamic environment
High safety focus 
Must be able to pass full pre-employment medical and DAS
Must hold current Western Australian C class licence

Position Duties:

  • EOM reconciliation
  • Stockpile management
  • Training of junior geologists and pit technicians
  • Ore spotting and ore markout
