Our client, an ASX-listed gold mining and exploration company proudly based in Western Australia, is currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Fitters to join their team at one of their gold operations.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate;
- Previous experience with pumps and crusher rebuilds;
- Experience with plant preventative maintenance programs;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Good communication and problem-solving skills;
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets;
- Crane, Forklift and EWP tickets - desirable.
Position Duties:
- Conduct maintenance on all fixed plant - sag/ball mill, cone crushers, conveyors, gearboxes, etc.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and report accordingly;
- Set up and operate hand and power tools common to mechanical trades;
- Accurately record all work carried out and book out parts correctly;
- Raise notification and complete time confirmations in SAP;
- Participate in the nightshift rotational roster and respond to call outs as required;
- Provide guidance to contractors as required.
