MES is presently in search of a well-experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to become part of a leading Global Market segment player in Western Australia.

The position is DIDO for individuals residing in Geraldton and its neighboring areas, working in their Midwest operations. Furthermore, the client invites individuals who are interested in Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) arrangements from Perth.

Job Requirements:

  • Australian recognized Trade (Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician);
  • Alternatively a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar;
  • Basic understanding of financial principles including working to set budgets;
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal);
  • Advanced time management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives;
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously;
  • Major OEM dealer experience working in maintenance and repair contracts (Desired);
  • Green Belt CPS/Lean/6 Sigma qualified (Desired);
  • Certificate IV Frontline Management or Diploma of Management (Desired).

Position Duties:

  • Ensure all heavy vehicle fluids contamination control measures and recommendations are in place and effective;
  • Ensure equipment maintenance is carried out within department budget and time guidelines;
  • Coordinate repairs and perform maintenance to all Heavy-duty mobile equipment;
  • Manage on-site expenditure to internal accounts to maximise technician recovery;
  • Ensure Repair and Maintenance history is accurately reflected in MEX;
  • Purchasing off all parts and other stock for mobile fleet;
  • Ensure invoices are accurate and without errors;
  • Maintain all breakdown stock, filters, fluids;
  • Control and maintain fuel pad between time on site;
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with detailed planning, scheduling and coordination of projects.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience combined with a minimum 3 years supervisory experience;
