Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit is currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join their Gold Project which sits in a major gold and nickel producing district.
Job Requirements:
- Electrical Workers License;
- Crane, Dogging, EWP, First Aid and Forklift tickets - desirable;
- Strong time management skills, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong, logical problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Immunization against Tetanus and Hepatitis A& B (or willingness to obtain);
- Manual C class driver’s license.
Position Duties:
- Support operations by providing electrical support and knowledge, expertise and practical application;
- Ensure the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by applying effective preventative maintenance practices through scheduled inspections, adjustments, and timely repair of equipment.
- Report all safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and potential plant or equipment stoppages;
- Maintain a good knowledge of all task instructions and procedures and ensure that these are consistently adhered to;
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the maintenance workshops and wherever maintenance work is carried out;
- Complete all administrative processing requirements - requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders, recording of labour time, etc.
